The best Chargeflow alternatives for Shopify merchants

TL;DR
Most alternatives lists mix representment tools with fraud guarantees and card network infrastructure. Here they are sorted by job, coverage, and pricing unit.
Every "Chargeflow alternatives" list I have read includes at least one company that does not do what Chargeflow does. Signifyd and Riskified sell guaranteed fraud decisions. Verifi and Ethoca are card network infrastructure. Putting them in a grid next to a representment app produces a comparison where the columns do not mean the same thing.
Full disclosure, and it matters more on this page than any other. Redo publishes this blog, Redo appears in the list below, and Redo sells products that compete directly with several companies named here. Every price is from the vendor's own live page with the date I checked it. Where a vendor publishes nothing, I say that instead of quoting a directory.
Chargeflow does four jobs, so "alternative" is ambiguous
Their pricing page splits into four products (chargeflow.io/pricing, checked July 20, 2026): Automation for representment at 25% per recovered chargeback, Alerts for deflection at $29 per deflected chargeback, Prevent for fraud screening at $0.20 per scanned transaction after the first 1,000, and Insights for analytics, free.
That means there are four different questions hiding inside "what should I use instead".
If you want representment, you are shopping for a recovery vendor. If you want to stop disputes before they are filed, you are shopping for network alerts. If you want to decline risky orders at checkout, you are shopping for fraud screening, which is a genuinely different product category with different economics. Most merchants I speak to want one or two of those, not four.
Decide which job first. The shortlist collapses to two or three names once you do.
Alternatives that do the same job
These are the products a Shopify merchant would actually swap in for Chargeflow's recovery and deflection layers.
Disputifier. Publishes 20% of recovered revenue, capped at $250 per won chargeback, plus $0.05 per order for fraud prevention and the same for order-not-received prevention (disputifier.com/pricing, checked July 20, 2026). Alerts are "Custom volume-based pricing". The cap is the differentiator and it favours high-AOV brands, since the effective rate falls once won cases clear $1,250.
Chargeblast. Covers both deflection and recovery. Their pricing page carried no dollar figures, percentages, or tiers when I checked it on July 20, 2026, so you are booking a call to find out.
Chargebacks911. A long-established managed dispute operation aimed further upmarket than a typical Shopify app. Their pricing URL returned a 404 on July 20, 2026. No public merchant pricing.
Justt. Positions on automated representment. No public pricing page I could reach on July 20, 2026.
Redo Reclaim. Representment, $0, covered properly two sections down.
Judge this group on three things: what share of your disputes they actually file, what they charge per recovered dollar, and whether the alerts layer is priced or quote-only.
Products that get listed as alternatives but are not
Signifyd and Riskified sell guaranteed fraud decisions. They approve or decline an order and take financial liability for the ones they approve, so a fraudulent chargeback on an approved order becomes their loss. That is a substitute for your fraud rules, not for your representment vendor. Signifyd's pricing page says it charges "a percentage of the order total when an order is approved", varying by vertical, volume, and ticket size, quoted per merchant (checked July 20, 2026). Riskified's pricing route is a contact form.
Verifi and Ethoca are card network infrastructure, not apps. Verifi runs Visa's CDRN and RDR; Ethoca is the Mastercard side. Merchants generally reach them through a vendor that is connected to them, which is what every alerts product in this space actually is. Comparing Ethoca to Chargeflow is comparing a road to a delivery company.
Kount. Enterprise fraud and dispute tooling. Worth knowing that Midigator, which used to appear on lists like this in its own right, now redirects to kount.com (checked July 20, 2026). It is not a separate option any more.
None of that is a criticism of these companies. It is a warning about grids that put a per-order approval fee, a per-alert fee, and a percentage of recovery in the same column and call it price.
Where Redo fits, and where it does not
Reclaim is our representment product and it is free: $0 install, no monthly fee, no success fee, and you keep 100% of what is recovered. We can price it that way because representment runs on infrastructure we already operate for the rest of the platform, so it does not have to fund itself through a revenue share. Against a 25% success fee on $10,000 of recovered revenue, that is $2,500 of difference in an example whose assumptions are entirely mine.
Deflecting disputes before they are filed is the other half of the job, and I have to be exact here: Alerts has no public pricing, and neither does Resolve. Both are demo and partner-program products. Neither is free. On that line Chargeflow publishes a rate and we do not, which is a straightforward point in their favour when you are trying to model costs from a website.
So the accurate version is: on representment, we are the cheapest option available because we are free. On deflection, we are one of several vendors who will make you ask.
Reclaim is free
Redo funds the representment. Evidence is built and filed before the bank's deadline, and you keep 100% of what comes back.
Get started freeThe whole field, sorted by job
Here is the field with the "which job" column made explicit, so the products that do different jobs stop sharing a row. Prices are each vendor's own published figures, checked July 20, 2026; "not published" means exactly that.
| Vendor | Primary job | Published price | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Redo (Reclaim) | Representment | $0, no success fee | free |
| Chargeflow | Recovery, deflection, screening | 25% recovered; $29 per alert; $0.20 per scan | mixed |
| Disputifier | Recovery, prevention | 20% recovered, cap $250; $0.05 per order | mixed |
| Chargeblast | Recovery, deflection | not published | quote |
| Chargebacks911 | Managed disputes | not published (404) | quote |
| Justt | Representment | not published | quote |
| Signifyd, Riskified | Fraud guarantee | percentage of approved order total | per approval |
| Verifi, Ethoca | Network infrastructure | reached through a connected vendor | n/a |
Read down the job column first. Only the rows that match the job you are buying belong on your shortlist.
The honest part
Chargeflow is a reasonable product and the reason it ranks is not marketing alone. Their Shopify listing showed 4.8 stars across 360 reviews on July 20, 2026, and they publish their prices when most of this category does not. If you want one vendor covering screening, deflection, and recovery on a single invoice, a contingent success fee is a defensible way to buy that, and switching costs you the integration you already have.
Price is also the weakest reason to switch a recovery vendor. Free representment that files 40% of your disputes loses to a paid one that files all of them. Ask any vendor here, us included, for recovered dollars over total disputed dollars rather than a win rate, because win rates mislead whenever the vendor chooses which cases to fight.
And no product in any of these three groups makes a filed dispute disappear from your VAMP ratio. Winning a representment returns the money and leaves the count untouched, which is why winning a chargeback does not fix your dispute ratio is the thing to read before you pick a vendor on recovery performance alone.
To build the shortlist, sort last quarter's disputes into three piles: ones you would have prevented with a clearer descriptor or better delivery updates, ones a pre-filing alert could have caught, and ones you had to fight.
Whichever pile is largest names the job you are buying. Then take the two or three vendors that do that job, ask each for a written price on the specific unit involved, and drop anyone who answers with a different unit.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best Chargeflow alternative for Shopify?
It depends on the job. For representment, Redo's Reclaim is free ($0 to install, no success fee, keep 100% of recoveries). Disputifier caps its success fee at $250 per case, which favours high-AOV brands. For deflection, most competitors quote rather than publish a rate.
Is there a free alternative to Chargeflow?
For representment, yes: Redo's Reclaim runs it free. Be careful with the word across the rest of the category, though. Deflection and fraud-screening layers, including Redo's own Alerts and Resolve, are paid or quote-only, so a tool that is free on recovery is not free on everything.
How is Chargeflow different from Signifyd or Riskified?
Chargeflow recovers and deflects disputes after or around the transaction. Signifyd and Riskified sell guaranteed fraud decisions: they approve or decline an order at checkout and take liability for approved orders. That substitutes for your fraud rules, not for a representment vendor.
Should I switch chargeback vendors on price alone?
No. Price is the weakest reason to switch a recovery vendor. A free tool that files 40 percent of your disputes loses to a paid one that files all of them. Ask every vendor for recovered dollars over total disputed dollars, not a win rate.
