# Create AI Brand Guide
## The one rule
**The artifact must not assert anything nobody measured.**
Every serious defect in this work is a variation on that single failure: an inverted footer band drawn because the template always drew one; a `--gutter` of `50px (desktop) / 15px (mobile)` that parses as nothing; a marketing popup's 6px radius written up as the brand's; a fallback typeface impersonating the real one so convincingly that a total font failure survives review.
None of those look like fabrication while you're making them. They look like completeness — filling a slot because the slot exists. That instinct is the enemy here. An empty section, a `[unresolved]` tag, or a banner saying "this is not the brand's face" is worth more than a plausible value, because a plausible value is indistinguishable from a real one downstream and gets shipped. What are AI skills?
Skills are instructions for your AI agent. They are written in English, not code, so you can customize them to do the job the way you want it done. The skills in our library are written by ecommerce experts, putting their experience to work for you.

Skills are fully customizable
All the skills in the library work out of the box. Once you download one, it is yours.
Keep the parts you like, change the parts you don’t. Make it work for you. Rewriting a skill is easy: just tell the agent what you want it to do instead.
Using several skills together is where the power starts to multiply. Try combining our create-ai-brand-guide skill with our create-html-email skill and watch the magic happen.
Skills are files you can read
The first lines are the skill's name and description. That is the part an agent reads to decide whether the skill is relevant to what you have asked for.
Instructions in plain language. It tells the agent what to do, how to do it, what to deliver, and how to work with you along the way.
Supplementary files that ship alongside the skill: resources the agent can reference, scripts it can run, and assets it can use while carrying the skill out.

## Pull the data Last 30 days, grouped by customer and by reason code. ## Flag the outliers Repeat returners, wardrobing, any reason code trending up. ## Write it up One page: what changed, who to watch, what to change in policy. ## User experience Establish the correct returns data source. Then run autonomously until the report is complete. Stop only when facing a blocker.

Skills work across AI tools
ChatGPT and Claude support skills natively. Drop the skill folder into the conversation and ask the agent to follow the instructions, or add it to your own skill library. Chat apps without that support can still read the instructions inside.
Chat does not access your local files or control your web browser, so some skills require a more powerful tool. ChatGPT Desktop and Claude Desktop both have a work mode that gives the agent access to your files and a web browser, with the same native support for skills.
The most powerful agents are built to write and run code. They work directly in your files and can build almost anything you can think of, which also makes them the most complex environment and the one for more advanced users. They will run any skill you add to the project folder, and even write their own.
Put our skills to the test
It only takes one prompt to turn your agent into an ecommerce expert.
It’s that easy… and did we mention they’re free for everyone to use?
