What happens if customs charges more than you quoted?
Redo absorbs the difference. The landed cost we calculate at checkout is what your customer pays and what you are invoiced. If the government assesses more, that gap is ours. Your customer never sees a fee at the door and you never see a surcharge.
What does it cost?
The software fee is $0. The shopper (or you if you would like) pays the duties and taxes that are owed, and shipping if you use our rates. Bring your international order data to the demo and the exact lane math comes back on the call. No contract.
Do I have to use Redo’s shipping rates?
No. Use our negotiated rates or bring your own carrier contracts — the Landed Cost Guarantee applies either way. Most brands land on our rates because they are competitive and it keeps outbound, tracking and returns on one platform, but it is not a condition.
Do I have to show duties as a separate line?
Your call, and you can run it differently per market. Itemized shows duties and fees at checkout so shoppers see exactly what they pay — maximum transparency. Inclusive pricing builds duty into your list price so checkout shows only shipping and tax, which makes for a cleaner checkout and tends to lift conversion.
Do I have to register for VAT or GST in other countries?
No. Import tax is collected at checkout and remitted for you. You do not open registrations abroad and do not file returns abroad — that work sits with Redo.
